Why “WANTED FOR GOOD?”

Deep down, I’m just an artist capturing my view of the world around me. But after all these years, I can’t think of anything more vital to the survival of the human race. Now more than ever it seems our Magnificent Technological Achievements are poised to kill us. Now more than ever the world needs all the voices of Freedom, Justice, Human Rights, and Fearless, Radical, Progressive Ideas it can muster.

This is my stand against the subjugation of Good People, Good Ideas & Good Deeds — the very things that get us to a better future. This is my antidote to the expanding control of an AI-powered corporate surveillance state: migrating to a decentralized order of things, to weaken the centralized power structures designed to exploit us and everything on the planet. I believe in putting powerful tools into the hands of inspired individuals singing for justice, joy, and freedom.

The Question of Ownership

In a world of platforms and paywalls, it’s worth asking ourselves:

Who owns your content? The music you make? The pictures you take? Who owns your personal data—your calendar, your contacts, your wallet? Who owns the code you use, the device you paid for, and the networks you depend on?

Too often, the voices that echo in the corporate media are the Biased, the Bribed, and the Bullied. We can change that.

A Friendly Neighborhood Web3 Hub

So I’m building a place to go and different ways to get there. This is a place where my community can reach me, and I can reach them. It’s also a window to see and hear the decentralized world outside. Here’s what I am building and sharing:

• Daily Cartoons: Holding a mirror up to the world.
• Art & Literature: Zines, paintings, and stories outside the censored mainstream.
• Web3 & Design Tools: New, open-source code from my workshop at github.com/cowboyprinter and tutorials on how to make it work at youtube.com/@cowboyprinter
• The Web3 Frontier Dispatch: A resource page with news, communities, instructions and tools to empower more independent creators.
• A Home for This Voice: Manufacturing a network of digital presence (decentralized Web3) that CANNOT BE so easily and arbitrarily TAKEN DOWN OFF THE WEB AND SILENCED.

The New Frontier

And that means REALLY using Web3 and decentralization. The higher goals of Web3 AND GOOD GOVERNANCE are baked into the blockchains: accountability for every change, complete transparency, and a permanent record. That’s the git way, and Web3 is our new frontier. It’s a chance to pour a fresh foundation for a more resilient, sustainable, and loving human community on-line AND in real life — if we’re free to dream it.
